Azovmash added to the roster 33-year old American guard Ronald Murray (193-79, college: Shaw). He was about to sign at Memphis Grizzlies in the NBA, but it seems he will not stay with that team after all. The last season Murray played at Austin Toros in D-League. In 12 games last year he recorded 14.6ppg, 3.3rpg and 3.0apg. He helped them to win the league title despite they ended the regular season at the second place.

The previous (10-11) season Murray played at Anadolu Efes in Turkish TBL. In 8 games that season he averaged 6.4ppg, 1.4rpg and 1.1apg. He also played 6 games in Euroleague where he averaged 4.2ppg and 1.0apg.

In 2002 Murray was drafted by Milwaukee Bucks (NBA) in second round (42nd overall). He attended Shaw University (NCAA Div.II) and it will be his eleventh (!!!) season in pro basketball. Murray was selected to NBA All-Star Game All-Sophmores Team back in 2004.

He has played also professionally in NBA (Atlanta Hawks, Chicago Bulls, Cleveland Cavaliers, Oklahoma City Thunder and Indiana Pacers).
