"Azovmash" will hold over the combing.
After a loss to BC "Kiev" BC "Azovmash" administration was going to discuss with the players their salary with the object to satisfy the achieved results (in Mariupol team's passive there are also a loss to BC "Khimik" and a whole bunch of unconvincing victories in the SuperLeague). The conversation took place, but no organizational or financial conclusions were made. The Club's bosses decided not to play hob with the team on the start in the EuroCup eve.
«The only task we have now is to prepare for the game against "Grand Canaria" on the 25-th of November, – BC "Azovmash" vice-president Borys Maletskiy informed «24». – We need to be working in such a mode, when we will not irritate neither us, nor the basketball players. And to discuss the way we are going along only after the game with the Spanish team. Also, we do not need to destabilize the situation».
The talks about the teams salaries reduction began because of the fact, that the only sponsor of the BC "Azovmash" the same-name plant has problems because of the lack of new orders. Mr. Maletskiy appeases the Club's fans by the fact, that even "Chelsea" has now. It was not possible to find out yesterda, whether the players themselves are ready to agree to the salaries reduction: the players sharply reduced their communication with the Mass Media. Evidently, they decided not to destabilize the situation too.
