"Azovmash": Serapinas - 15, Thompson - 12, El-Amin and Guinn - 9, Cakic - 8, Lishchuk, Skutyelnik and Rizvich - 2. BC "Azovmash" from Mariupol yet another time won a victory over the capital team BC "Kiev". Just like in all the confrontations of these teams, the intrigue kept untill the last seconds of the game. The hosts of the court, having got rid of the foreign players, played worthy. But at the end of the game the Azovmash players turned out to be stronger. One second before the end of the regulation game the Kiev team was loosing 2 points and posessed the ball. Markoishvili recieved the pass, put away Lishchuk on the layout, but the shot turned out to be imprecise. After the victory in Kiev BC "Azovmash" moved to the first place in the regular Championship.
